Off Menu · An invite-only dinner series from Phoenix & Raven · Toronto
Dinner with people who know exactly how hard your job is.
Twenty senior operators at one table for an evening. There aren’t many chances to sit down with people working on the same problems and actually compare notes, so that’s all this is — a small table, a good dinner, and a conversation that doesn’t have to be stage-ready.

The idea
Why we started doing this
By the time a growth story is ready for a stage, the interesting part has usually been edited out — the bet that didn't land, the number nobody trusts, the channel quietly carrying the quarter.
Off Menu is our attempt to get that part back. We book one table, seat twenty people who spend their days on the same problems, and remove the reasons to perform: no stage, no recording, no audience, no product in the middle of it.
What you leave with
Three things worth the evening
Good food brings us together. The people and perspectives make the evening worthwhile.
The unedited benchmark
What’s working right now at companies your size, said out loud by the person responsible for it.
A pressure-tested position
Bring a view, hear another perspective, and go home either more confident in it or usefully less so.
The tables
One function per night, so nobody spends an hour catching up
Each table is a single function, so you spend the evening with people who do your job somewhere else. Tables run through the year in Toronto, and seats open a few at a time.

Leave the pitch. Bring your perspective.
Small table. Good dinner. Room for the honest version.
House rules
How we keep it useful
Three things we hold to, as hosts before anyone else.
It stays at the table
Nothing is recorded and nothing gets written up. If you want to quote someone from that evening, ask them first.
We host, we don’t present
There’s no keynote, no demo and no deck. We’re at the table as participants, same as everyone else.
Half-formed is welcome
Bring the version you’d say to a colleague. The most useful idea in the room often isn’t ready for a presentation.
Request an invite
Twenty seats, and no registration link
Tell us who you are and which table you'd want to be at. We read every request and reach out directly when a seat opens.
Dinner’s on us. No ticket, no sponsor tier, and nobody from a sales team will follow up.
A few things to know
Before you sign up
The things worth ordering usually aren’t the ones printed on the menu. Someone who’s been coming a while tells you about them. Same idea here.
No. Phoenix and Raven are consumer telehealth brands. The people at this table aren’t our customers and we have nothing to sell them. Nobody follows up with a deck.
Senior operators, typically director level and above, working on the function that table covers. There’s no open registration. Each seat is offered to a specific person. Twenty of them, so everyone hears the same conversation.
We review requests ahead of each table and reach out directly when a seat matches. If a table fills first, you stay on the list for the next one.
Drinks from 6:30, a seasonal chef-curated dinner from 7:15, guided small-group conversation through the evening, and dessert around 8:45. Full details come with your invitation.
