In the end, the ASA concluded that the claim “it can actually help to reduce hair loss” had not been substantiated and was misleading. At the end of the telogen phase, the hair follicles begin to produce new hairs and the cycle begins again. In some cases, due to certain factors, the cycle can be disrupted, causing the hair to stop growing.
