Is it legal to get a prescription online in Canada?
Yes. Telehealth is fully legal in Canada and is improving access to healthcare across the country. Phoenix enables licensed physicians to practice medicine and care for patients remotely. Every provider you interact with is licensed to prescribe medication in your province, in full compliance with Canadian medical regulations.
Do I need a referral from my doctor to use Phoenix?
No. You do not need a referral. Phoenix's licensed Canadian healthcare providers are qualified to independently evaluate your health and prescribe medications where appropriate.
How is Phoenix different from other prescription services?
With Phoenix, you skip the specialist waitlist by completing a simple online health questionnaire. If a licensed Canadian provider determines care is appropriate, you'll receive a prescription plan tailored to your health profile, with discreet delivery and ongoing provider support included.
What provinces does Phoenix operate in?
Phoenix is currently available in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island (PEI).
What happens after I submit my health form?
A licensed Canadian provider will review your health form within 24 hours. You'll receive status updates by email and through your Phoenix patient portal.

How does prescription delivery work?
If a prescription is approved, your medication is shipped discreetly to your address at no additional cost. You can track your order and manage upcoming refills through your Phoenix account.
How much does prescription delivery cost?
Prescription delivery is always free, no matter where you are in Canada.
Ongoing Support
How do online provider check-ins work?
You'll receive email or text reminders when a check-in is scheduled. Check-ins allow your provider to monitor your progress, confirm whether the treatment is working as intended, and adjust your care plan if needed.
What if my medication doesn't feel right?
Message your provider directly. They can adjust your dose, recommend strategies for managing side effects, or explore alternative options. Your provider will work with you to find a plan that suits your needs.
Can I cancel or pause my order at any time?
Yes. You can pause or cancel upcoming orders at any time. We recommend reaching out to your provider first, as many concerns can be resolved with a small adjustment to your plan.
Can I return my prescription medication?
Unfortunately, prescription medications cannot be accepted for return, reuse, or resale. If you believe an error was made with your order, please contact us at support@phoenix.ca and we'll make it right.

What should I do if I experience a side effect?

Is my personal and medical information safe with Phoenix?

Will my insurance cover my prescription?
Your insurance may cover your prescription medication. While Phoenix does not offer direct billing, everything you need to submit a reimbursement claim will be included in your prescription package.

Phoenix Labs
What is Phoenix Labs and what does it test?
Phoenix Labs is a comprehensive blood test panel and doctor-led health analysis service for men. It tracks 50+ biomarkers across multiple panels, including hormones, inflammation markers, iron and vitamins, and liver function, and goes beyond standard lab results by including a review and explanation from a licensed physician. Where do I get my blood drawn for Phoenix Labs?
After ordering, you'll receive a requisition form to bring to any LifeLabs location. The draw typically takes about 10 minutes. Results are reviewed by a licensed physician and available through your Phoenix account within 3 to 5 business days.
Do I need a family doctor or referral?
No. You order directly online. A licensed physician reviews your results and provides a clinical summary as part of the service — no GP required.
Can I use my HSA or employee benefits for Phoenix Labs?
Yes. Phoenix Labs panels are eligible for Health Spending Accounts and many employer benefit plans. We provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement.
