What's the difference between oral and injectable GLP-1s?
The main difference is how they're taken. Oral options are pills taken by mouth, so there are no needles, pens or injections involved. Your provider can explain whether an oral or injectable option, if any, is appropriate for you.
Does joining the waitlist guarantee a prescription?
No. A licensed healthcare provider reviews your online health assessment and decides whether treatment is clinically appropriate for you.
I already use a GLP-1 injection through Phoenix. Should I switch?
Don't stop or change your current treatment on your own. When oral options become available, message your provider in the Phoenix app and they'll help you decide what's appropriate for you.
